Macintosh Forensics

Greetings to all. Anyone on the Yahoo email group Macos_forensics will probably recognize my name, but otherwise, let me brifly introduce myself. My name is Ryan Kubasiak, and I am an Investigator with the New York State Police. I specialize in digital forensics with a passion for the MacOS. I have written a first edition guide to MacOS Forensics that is publicly available as a PDF file. I have submitted the file to this site and hopefully it will be available soon. You will find it available on the Yahoo group as well. Hopefully this forum will grow and become a resource for everyone with MacOS questions.

As a none Mac User - where do you find the internet history for a mac? I would assume that it comes with firefox or such?

The file "/Users/Bob/Library/Safari/History.plist" Will have the browsers history. "Bob" is the user, there might be more than one. Note: this is very easy to clear.
